Golden Twist blouse with short pencil skirt or flowy floor lengthened skirt (Kiekie included)
Designed by Endilla Teaupa, the Golden Twist Set with Coconut Husk Kiekie is a three-piece Polynesian ensemble rooted in Tongan cultural tradition, transformation, and womanhood.
This set is offered with two skirt options:
- Long, flowy skirt for graceful movement and ceremonial elegance
- Short, body-fitting pencil skirt for structure, confidence, and modern refinement
Both skirt options are paired with a relaxed-fit top featuring a flat, clean front and a structured back, creating balance, support, and a modest silhouette. Completing the look is a handmade Tongan kiekie crafted from natural coconut husk fibers. In Tongan culture, the kiekie is worn as a symbol of respect, adornment, and feminine dignity.
The contrast between flow and structure reflects the meaning behind Golden Twist — the understanding that when life does not unfold as expected, it is often being shaped into something stronger, more purposeful, and ultimately golden.
This design was featured at the 2024 Runway Dubai Fashion Show, where Endilla Teaupa showcased the Charlotte’s Rootz Collection in dedication to her mother. The accessories styled with this look were also handmade by her mother and are available through ATEA Polynesian Arts, completing a story of generational craftsmanship and cultural continuity.
